Safeguarding policy

Camara believes that everyone we come into contact with either in person or through our digital channels, regardless of age, gender, disability, or ethnic origin has the right to be protected from all forms of harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Camara will not tolerate abuse and exploitation by staff or associated personnel.

Who is it for?

Camara’s Safeguarding Policy has been developed to ensure the maximum protection of all program participants from exploitation and to clarify the responsibilities of Camara Personnel and the standards of behavior expected of them

What does it address?

This policy will address the following areas of safeguarding: child safeguarding, adult safeguarding,  protection from sexual exploitation and abuse, and reporting of safeguarding concerns.

Enabling Reports

Camara will ensure that safe, appropriate, accessible means of reporting safeguarding concerns are made available to staff and the communities we work with.  See the end of this page on how to report safeguarding incidents.
